Waterford House of Crystal

Waterford most well known museum home to the largest collection of the words most famous crystal. This mesmerising place offers guided tours to discover the origin of waterford crystal and how it is made, as well as allowing its visitiors to browse some of the many products the factory has to offer on sale.


Medieval Museum

The magnificent curved façade of the warm butter-coloured stone building draws in the visitor. The eye-catching giant sculpture on the gable was inspired by a tiny 13th century belt mount found in Waterford. It is Ireland’s only purpose-built medieval museum and the only building on the island to incorporate two medieval chambers, the 13th century Choristers’ Hall and the 15th century Mayor’s Wine Vault.


Waterford Viking Triangle

Located in the heart of Waterford city and is the centre of waterfords cultural and heritage area. It is called the viking trianle because of the the 1000 year old viking walls that once surrounded it. Attractions in the heart of the viking triangle include; Waterford house of Crystal, Reginalds Tower, Christ church cathedral and many more historical sites.


Christ Church Catherdral

Formarly known as the cathedral of the holy trinity, was built in the 11th Centuary for Richard de Clare. 2nd earl of Pembrook (Strongbow) and Aoife Ni Diarmaits Wedding. It was then replaced by a gothic church in 1210 is now one of the 6 cathedrals in the United Dioceses of Cashel and Ossery. This Georgian theatre creates, develops, produces and presents a multitude of irish theatre, music, dance and many other local live performances.


Waterford School of Music

Part of the WIT educational programme, is a music school that has been providing people with musical education for over 30 years. Offers both private instrunmental tuition and group classes.


Garter Lane Arts Centre

A theatre that aims to entertain the whole family all year around with music, dance, literature, comedy, film, childrens art and exhabitions. This theatre contains many exhabitions by contemporary and local artists.
